Spring is quickly turning into summer and I’m always amazed at how quickly our vegetables are growing! Farm fresh tomatoes and peppers will be here before we know it. In the meantime, enjoy the leafy green veggies while they last.

We’re also excited to announce that we’ll have pasture raised chicken and farm fresh eggs available at pick-up. Chicken is $5.25/lb and eggs are $4/dozen. Supplies are limited so please let us know if you’d like to add to your pick-up!

Recipe: Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients
Chèvre or soft cheese
Fresh sliced rustic bread
Arugula
Figs or apricots, sliced

Directions
Spread chèvre on each slice of bread, layer arugula and apricots or figs. Place slices together and place in buttered pan until golden brown on each side.

This recipe offers a fun twist on a classic snack. Your family will love the creamy texture of the cheese combined with the slightly sweet taste of the fruit.
