The Recipe – Purple Cabbage Slaw with Lemon Dressing
Ingredients
- 6 cups purple cabbage
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 3 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 1 hot pepper, finely chopped
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
salt and pepper
Dressing
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 garlic gloves
- 1/2 fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp water
Directions
Combine all items of salad except 1 tbsp sesame seeds in a large bowl. Combine all dressing items in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour dressing over slaw and toss. Top with 1 tbsp. of sesame seeds.
