Local artist Anne Laddon visited BeeWench Farm a few weeks ago to visit with our animals. This wasn’t just a social visit however, Ms. Laddon was here to take pictures of the goats and chickens for a project she is working on.
According to her site, Anne Laddon has been a professional artist for 40 years, beginning her career in a San Francisco ad agency as a graphic designer. She moved to the central coast in 1984 and turned to oil painting and pastels. Her current work features oils and pastels with bright color, bold design and strong composition.
Ms. Laddon is well known in the local art world for her bold colors of landscapes and animals. Here is a small sample of her work with my chickens:

I love the colors and the rooster in the background!
Anne’s work can be found at the Studios on the Park in downtown Paso Robles, along with many other outstanding artists! I can’t wait to see the work she does with the goats!
