BWF Fried Chicken

  • 1 whole chicken, cut up into bone-in breast, thighs and drumstick
  • oil for frying

For chicken seasoning

  • salt, pepper and garlic granules to taste

For frying dredge

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp salt, garlic granules and pepper
  • 1-2 cups whole milk or buttermilk (can use milk alternative if needed)


  1. liberally season both sides of chicken parts with salt, pepper and garlic and set aside

  2. get oil heating to 300 in deep sided skillet

  3. add milk to a shallow dish or bowl

  4. add flour and 1tbsp each of the salt, garlic and pepper to a separate shallow dish or bowl

  5. one by one, dredge chicken in milk and then flour and add to skillet

  6. fry in skillet for 15 minutes, then flip. fry for an additional 10 minutes

  7. drain on paper towels or a metal rack
