Cucumber slices on white backgroundTime certainly flies! It’s already Week 5 of our summer CSA shares- we’ve reached the halfway point! Our tomatoes are starting to come in beautifully and peppers are starting to really produce. I’m so happy to share this fresh produce with you in the coming weeks!

Dont forget to sign up for our Fall Shares to continue to receive fresh, natural veggies! And as you all know, pastured chicken and farm fresh eggs are available for pre-order. If you’d like us to bring one to pick up, please let us know.

The Recipe – Cucumber Onion Salad with Vinegar

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cucumbers, sliced then halved
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • Balsamic vinaigrette to taste (about 1/2 cup)
  • Salt and pepper

Directions
Combine all items. Let chill in fridge for 30 minutes. Serve.
